Holidays, Early Close, and Closed days
Preschool Daily Schedule
RISE is closed on the following holidays:
- Orthodox Christmas – January 7th
- Memorial Day – last day of May
- Independence Day – July 4th
- Labor Day – first Monday of September
- Thanksgiving Day – last Thursday of November
- Day after Thanksgiving (instead of Veteran’s Day)
- Christmas Day – December 25th
- New Year’s Day – January 1
- Close at 3 pm on the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas, Memorial, and Labor Day.
RISE is open on the following holidays –School for the children will be held:
- Columbus Day
- Veteran’s Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Patriot’s Day –
- Spring Break
- President’s Day
- Juneteenth
The center is closed for cleaning and maintenance.
- Summer Break during the 4th of July week.
- Winter Break week Christmas through New Year’s Day
Academic activities are planned for the first part of the top-notch preschool day, while the second half of the day includes engaging developmental lessons such as drama, dance, and music.

When children graduate from RISE, they are prepared for kindergarten and they will master their reading, writing, listening and following direction skills.
